Baby Alpaca Cardigans Back IN NOW!

We are pleased to have our popular baby alpaca boucle knit Tie Cardigans back in stock. Through the website, at the on-farm shop and in the Toft Trailer you can now buy our tie cardigans in a new colour range and extended sizes.

Since we originally launched a small batch of these cardigans last year, they have grown in popularity. For Christmas 2007 we introduced red and purple versions, and produced a handful of pink and baby blue limited colour collections for the Spring 2008.

For summer 2008 we have made a full natural colour selection, specifically focussing on the 'natural greys' achieved by mixing quantities of white and black fleece. Beyond the basic black (which you can never go wrong with) we offer 'charcoal', a dark grey that teems perfectly with both browns and blacks. Next is 'steel', an unusual blue grey, and then 'silver'. The silver is a very delicate grey that is perfect for anyone nervous about the richness of the natural cream alpaca comes in. In addition to these greys we have produced a 'marled grey' that is achieved by plying and then knitting black and white yarns together. This gives a textured colour that is almost 'marbled' and 'tweedy' in appearance.

Our sizes have expanded from a two-size range (small and medium) to include an extra small and a large. Our tie cardigans will now comfortably fit up to a size eighteen, and the extra-small offers women a chance to select a cut with a shorter sleeve.
